X-rays are taken when indicated to give the doctor an inside look at what is going on with the bone structure of the entire spine and surrounding skeletal structure. From this x-ray, the doctor can tell your current spine angles as well as any potential further issues including the possibility for additional testing such as an MRI.
We have a modern x-ray facility with high-frequency x-ray which decreases your dosage compared to traditional x-ray machines.
Also, if an MRI is indicated I have made arrangements with a facility that has greatly reduced rates for those of you who may not have insurance coverage.
